Penang Hill Festival 2025 (PHF2025)

The 6th edition of the “Penang Hill Festival” (PHF2025) was successfully held on Penang Hill from 18 to 20 July 2025. The three-day festival featured a rich line-up of programmes including musical performances, talks, exhibitions, workshops, and discovery walks, showcasing the hill’s unique natural, cultural, and historical charm.

The festival’s highlight, “Music on the Hill – East Meets West,” was staged for the first time at the historic Bellevue Hotel on 20 July 2025, offering audiences a captivating evening of musical fusion against the scenic backdrop of Penang Hill.

With 8 interactive workshops, 32 indoor and outdoor activities, 7 exhibitions, 21 expert speakers and guides, 8 performances by 7 Penang-based music-performing groups and artists, and 17 nature and heritage discovery walks, there was truly something for everyone. Designed to engage and educate, PHF2025 aimed to inspire a deeper appreciation of the hill’s natural, historical, and cultural significance, while offering new learnings and fresh topics for both visitors and the community.

PHF2025 attracted more than 25,000 visitors, continuing to strengthen its position as one of Penang Hill’s most anticipated annual events.
