SOFTWARE ENGINEER / DEVELOPER – GRADE F9/F10

WORK DESCRIPTION:

1. Design and implement data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence algorithms;
2. Develop and maintain prototype systems for data analysis, visualization, and predictive analytics;
3. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify areas of opportunity for AI solution and Data science initiatives;
4. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery;
5. Maintain and support in-house developed software and applications;
6. Support and maintain ticketing system to ensure smooth operation;
7. Adhere to project timelines and proactively communicate task milestones;
8. Provide technical support on Ad Hoc request during weekends and Public Holidays if required; and
9. Any other task or project assigned by the Division Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Malaysian Citizen;
2. Candidate must possess Masters or Bachelor Degree in Computer science, Data science, Computer engineering, Information technology, or similar field;
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and implementing software applications;
4. Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Python Java, C++, PHP and more;
5. Experience developing secure software systems based upon industry specifications;
6. Work experience in MS Power Platform, SQL / NoSQL database designs;
7. proficiency in deep learning techniques, including model training, retraining, and quantization;
8. Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworkseg: TensorFlow;
9. Know how to extract data by writing script coding and IoT installation;
10. Experience with AI model development in the context of image detection, identification, and tracking will be added advantages;
11. Knowledge in Cloud Services such as AWS or Google Cloud is an advantage;
12. Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter and coach others in a collaborative environment;
13. Ability to communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia (other language will be ideal); and
14. Positive attitude as well as the ability to learn quickly, able to work both in teams and independently.
