SOFTWARE ENGINEER / DEVELOPER – GRADE F41/F44

4. SALARY SCHEME              : Based on salary scheme for the Grade F41/F44
   

WORK DESCRIPTION:

1. Maintain and support in-house developed software and applications;
2. Debug and resolve application issues to guarantee seamless functionality;
3. Develop new web/mobile applications for the corporation using latest tech stack;
4. Work with team or others to improve system in term of security and scalability;
5. Adhere to project timelines and proactively communicate task milestones;
6. Create documentation for new and existing project;
7. Support and maintain ticketing system to ensure smooth operation;
8. Technical support for internal customer;
9. Provide User Training for in house System;
10. Provide technical support on Ad Hoc request during weekends and Public Holidays; and
11. Any other task or project assigned by the Division Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Malaysian Citizen;
2. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information System Engineering or equivalent;
3. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in software development and project lead;
4. Solid knowledge in PHP, HTML, CSS, Python and JavaScript;
5.  Work experience in MS Power Platform, SQL / NoSQL database designs, etc.;
6.  Working knowledge in data analytics and database design;
7.  Work experience with cyber security standard/framework;
8.  Knowledge in Cloud Services such as AWS or Google Cloud is an advantage;
9.  Knowledge in mobile application (IOS/Android) is an advantage;
10.  Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter and coach others in a collaborative environment;
11.  Ability to communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia (other language will be ideal);
12.  Positive attitude as well as the ability to learn quickly, able to work both in teams and independently.
