IT TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER

WORK DESCRIPTION:

    1. Design, implement, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, network devices, and security appliances;
    2. Configure, administer, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPN solutions;
    3. Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security to ensure business continuity and system reliability;
    4. Configure, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security, and access control systems;
    5. Assist in maintaining IT security, monitor systems, and report or help resolve security-related issues;
    6. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications;
    7. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, LDAP services, and identity management systems;
    8. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, patch management, and business continuity solutions;
    9. Configure and support load balancing, monitoring systems, cloud services, and hybrid infrastructure environments;
    10. Maintain and support database servers, application servers, and ticketing systems to ensure smooth business operations;
    11. Develop and maintain IT security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation;
    12. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance security, scalability, and operational efficiency;
    13. Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for infrastructure deployment, troubleshooting, and project implementation;
    14. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, servers, networks, and related IT systems;
    15. Assist in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities;
    16. Follow company policies, IT security requirements, and standard operating procedures;
    17. Complete assigned tasks on schedule and report work progress or issues to the supervisor;
    18. Provide technical support during after-office hours, weekends, public holidays, and emergency situations when required; and
    19. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Division Manager or Management.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Malaysian citizen aged 21 years and above;
    2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field;
    3. Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience;
    4. Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, servers, networking, and technical support;
    5. Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux servers, network devices, virtualization, cloud platforms, backup solutions, or cybersecurity technologies will be an advantage;
    6. Experience supporting enterprise IT systems, POS terminals, ticketing systems, access control systems, or related technologies will be an added advantage;
    7. Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AWS, CompTIA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage;
    8. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
    9. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
    10. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team;
    11. Knowledge of AI, automation, or data analytics technologies will be an added advantage;
    12. Willing to provide technical support outside normal working hours when required; and
    13. Preferably based in Penang.

GENERAL OFFICE ASSISTANT

WORK DESCRIPTION:

    1. Provide frontline customer service at the reception/front office in a courteous and professional manner.
    2. Handle customer enquiries and provide accurate information about the Penang Hill Corporation’s services.
    3. Manage Funicular Monthly Pass (FPASS) applications, renewals, and record updates.
    4. Receive, answer, and route incoming telephone calls to the relevant departments or officers.
    5. Record and relay messages from telephone calls and walk-in customers.
    6. Handle basic complaints and forward them to the relevant units for further action.
    7. Maintain proper records related to customer transactions and FPASS documentation.
    8. Support basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily office operations.
    9. To perform other related duties as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Malaysian Citizen, 21 years old and above;
  2. Candidate must possess at least SPM level. Higher qualification will be an advantage;
  3. Diploma in Office Management, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related field is an added advantage;
  4. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
  5. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  6. Ability to handle frontline counter operations professionally and politely;
  7. Basic administrative and record-keeping skills;
  8. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook);
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision;
  10. Problem-solving skills in handling customer enquiries and complaints;
  11. Preferably from Penang Island;
  12. Willing and able to work at odd hours even during public holidays/weekends; and
  13. Willing and able to work overtime when required.

WORK DESCRIPTION:

    1. Perform the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/ receivables, and business support activities;
    2. Prepare timely and accurate monthly/ annual financial reports, including sales/ expense reports, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements;
    3. Prepare audited financial statements, notes to accounts, and audit schedules; coordinate and support audit processes;
    4. Analyse financial data and present clear, insightful reports and recommendations to the Management;
    5. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and support implementation and monitoring against approved budgets;
    6. Monitor cash flow, report cash positions, and ensure optimum cash levels for operational purposes;
    7. Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as auditors, tax agents, banks and government authorities to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance;
    8. Recommend and implement continuous improvements in financial processes, internal controls, policies, and procedures; and
    9. Undertake ad-hoc financial and accounting assignments as required by the Management.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Malaysian Citizen;
    2. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
    3. Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ CPA/ MIA/ CIMA will be an added advantage;
    4. Minimum five (5) years of relevant accounting and finance experience;
    5. Candidates with prior experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC), audit field, or Big Four accounting firms will have an added advantage;
    6. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”), the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards (“MPERS”), Malaysian Public Sector Accounting Standards (“MPSAS”), as well as taxation laws, governing standards, and regulatory requirements;
    7. Able to multitask, fast learner, independent, and capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines; possesses a strong sense of urgency;
    8. Detail-oriented with strong financial analytical skills and a good team player;
    9. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
    10. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (SQL);
    11. Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; and
    12. Willing to work beyond standard working hours when required.

WORK DESCRIPTION:

  1. Responsible for the safety, security and maintenance of of PHC’s visitors, staff, buildings, assets and reputation;
  2. Plan, develop and implement facilities management programs including 'preventive maintenance' and 'life cycle' requirements;
  3. Conduct and record facility inspections and ensure compliance with industry code standards for occupational health and safety requirements;
  4. Planning and supervising the repair, improvement, modification and maintenance of facilities;
  5. Control and ensure that relevant laws and regulations are fully complied with;
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of facilities management and development programs;
  7. Manage and ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA), emergency response and all ISO standards;
  8. Manage and administer the Security Unit. The duties include developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing security personnel and ensuring compliance with security laws;
  9. Enforcing safety and security related acts;
  10. Provide various support services; and
  11. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Malaysian Citizen, 40 years old and above;
  2. Bachelor Degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Maintenance or any other related discipline with additional qualification in Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA). Higher qualification will be an advantage; 
  3. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and previous working experience in a senior facility planning or management, security management, occupational safety and health and security management will be an added advantage;
  4. Strong analytical, operations and technical skills, including strong ability in problem solving and knowledge in various compliance regulations; 
  5. Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both verbal and written). Additional language skills would be added advantage; 
  6. Motivated and self-driven individual with a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and must be a team player; 
  7. Strong people management, interpersonal and presentation skills are required; and
  8. Must be prepared to occasionally work on weekends and public holidays.

  1. Conduct audit fieldwork covering compliance, financial, operational, and integrity aspects as per the Annual Audit Plan;
  2. Prepare draft audit reports and communicate recommendations in accordance with statutory requirements, The IIA’s International Standards, policies and procedures;
  3. Follow-up on the results of audit recommendations;
  4. Prepare creative materials, such as posters and slides for integrity awareness;
  5. Support in organizing training programs and awareness campaigns to promote an integrity-driven culture;
  6. Maintain documentation to ensure records are accurate and up to date; and
  7. Ensure all assignments are completed on time.
 
 

REQUIREMENTS:
