JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced, highly analytical, and detail-oriented System Analyst with strong project management capabilities to join our team. In this role, you will not only analyse and design business systems but also coordinate and drive project execution, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. Acting as a key bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure that system designs meet both business objectives and technical standards.

 

WORK DESCRIPTION:

  1. Analyse current systems and processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement;
  2. Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications;
  3. Gather and document detailed business and system requirements;
  4. Design system specifications, workflows, and data models to support business needs;
  5. Develop use cases, UML diagrams, and technical documentation;
  6. Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC;
  7. Act as a key liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery;
  8. Serve as liaison between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle;
  9. Provide input into system architecture and data integration strategy;
  10. Design end-to-end technical solutions, including system workflows, use cases, and database architectures;
  11. Support testing (UAT) and system implementation activities;
  12. Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements or updates;
  13. Ensure alignment of system design with business goals, compliance, and data security standards; and
  14. Any other task or project assigned by the Division Manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields;
  2. At least 5 years of experience in system analysis roles, including at least 2 years of project coordination or project management experience;
  3. Strong understanding of system analysis, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business process modelling;
  4. Strong experience in database design, including data modelling, normalization, and ERD creation;
  5. Experience with tools such as UML, ERD, flowcharts, and process mapping;
  6. Proficient in SQL and familiar with data modelling and relational databases;
  7. Strong communication skills to translate between technical teams and business users;
  8. Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or C#) is a strong advantage;
  9. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and propose practical solutions;
  10. Excellent organizational and time management abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  11. Proven experience in project coordination or project management, working with cross-functional teams;
  12. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver quality documentation and designs;
  13. Experience with system integration and API design will be added advantage;
  14. Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and data integration will be added advantage;
  15. Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or enterprise systems (ERP, CRM) will be added advantage;
  16. Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies will be added advantage;
  17. Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter and coach others in a collaborative environment;
  18. Ability to communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia (other language will be ideal); and
  19. Positive attitude as well as the ability to learn quickly, able to work both in teams and independently.

SECURITY ASSISTANT - (PSH)

WORK DESCRIPTION:

  1. Carry out patrols and security monitoring throughout the Penang Hill Corporation (PHC)’s premises every hour during the day and every two hours at night or as directed by the PHC’s Security Officer;
  2. Make notes and reports every hour on duty of current matters in the Safety Log Book;
  3. Maintain and ensure that PHC property is in good condition and safe;
  4. Ensuring security control in the premises to prevent theft and elements of sabotage;
  5. Prohibit or prevent any visitor from bringing prohibited items and pets into the funicular;
  6. Report to the PHC Security Officer immediately in the event of any incident that violates the rules or instructions issued by PHC;
  7. Ensure that no activities are held at the PBBPP premises without the approval of the PHC Management;
  8. Receive and execute all instructions from the PHC Security Officer;
  9. Assist in Visitors Management (Crowd Control & Que Management) and need to adopt the following attitudes:
    1. Practice good public relations procedures when communicating with visitors;
    2. Has a good character and customer friendly.
  10. Other duties as directed by the PHC Security Officer and PHC Management from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Malaysian citizens, especially residents of Penang or near Penang Hill Corporation (PHC);
  2. Aged 25 years and above;
  3. Have a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a Security Guard Skills Course Certificate organized by the Malaysian Security Control Services Association (PPKKM) or other relevant qualifications;
  4. Retirees or former uniformed bodies such as former members of the ATM, PDRM or BOMBA are eligible to be considered;
  5. Have a good level of health as well as strong and healthy physical and mental endurance;
  6. Has a cheerful personality and can communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  7. Has no record of offenses especially involving criminal or drug cases; and
  8. Can work in shifts, overtime, public holidays and weekends.

WORK DESCRIPTION:

  1. Conduct audit fieldwork covering compliance, financial, operational, and integrity aspects as per the Annual Audit Plan;
  2. Prepare draft audit reports and communicate recommendations in accordance with statutory requirements, The IIA’s International Standards, policies and procedures;
  3. Follow-up on the results of audit recommendations;
  4. Prepare creative materials, such as posters and slides for integrity awareness;
  5. Support in organizing training programs and awareness campaigns to promote an integrity-driven culture;
  6. Maintain documentation to ensure records are accurate and up to date; and
  7. Ensure all assignments are completed on time.
 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Malaysian Citizen, 19 years old and above;
  2. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent;
  3. Minimum 2 years of working experience in audit is an added advantage;
  4. Good attitude with strong integrity;
  5. Service-oriented, pleasant disposition with good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  6. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
